WHO WE ARE

Safe in His Arms Ministries, Inc. (SIHAM) is a nonprofit organization dedicated and committed to offering hope for those in need through the sharing of the love of the Lord and providing resources through Compassion Care Management and Mentoring/Coaching Services.

The Compassion Care Management program involves identifying needs of individuals and families who are living near or below the poverty level.  SIHAM has a hygiene pantry and clothing closet to meet immediate clothing and hygiene needs.  SIHAM compassion care management is also knowledgeable of community resources and assists those in need with connection to support services such as Department of Human Services, rental assistance programs, mental health, substance use treatment facilities, medical providers as well as educational and vocational resources.  SIHAM also provides support for individuals and families transitioning from shelter and supportive living environments.

The Mentoring Platform provides coaching support for individuals who require support with parenting skills, financial literacy (budgeting, checking /savings), life skills support, vocational counseling- including, education/GED/ Job readiness and spiritual counseling as needed.

Through the mentoring program individuals are paired with knowledgeable and caring mentors, whose sole purpose is to foster self-esteem, goal achievement, and spiritual & emotional growth through sharing of wisdom, coaching and role modeling.  Participants are also given opportunities to support other participants in a positive nonjudgmental environment.

Through SIHAM’s Compassionate Care Management and Mentoring programs, individuals and families have the opportunity to relieve stress, restore energy and promote the necessary life balance to achieve a greater measure of personal success.
